3. Go back to the main Settings menu and tap on Developer Options to open it.
4. Enable USB debugging by tapping on it.
5. Download ADB on your PC.
6. Extract the ZIP file into a folder.
7. After extracting the ZIP file, open that folder.
8. Press and hold the shift button and right-click in a blank area.
9. Click on “Open Powershell window here.”
10. Enter the command
11. Connect your Android device to the PC using a USB data cable and set the USB mode as File Transfer.
12. You will receive a USB debugging notification on your phone, tap on OK to allow debugging access.
13. Re-enter the command
14. You should now see the Serial number of your device on the Powershell window.
15. Run the command
16. Wait for a few seconds. You’ll notice the app has been uninstalled from your device.

2. Using System App Remover

This method requires you to root to your Android device. After gaining root access follow the steps below to uninstall this system app.

1. Download and install the System App Remover application.
2. Launch the application, search for Security Center and select this app by tapping on the checkbox next to it.

When I executed the pm list packages -s command on my brand new Realme X50 Pro, I got a list of 389 preloaded apps. I wondered why my phone has around 400 system apps. It was then that I decided to uninstall the apps that I don’t need for better performance and battery life.

In the beginning, my aim was to uninstall or remove apps like Realme App Market, Game Center, Theme Store, Google Chrome, YouTube, etc. It’s not hard to disable system apps and debloat Realme UI and ColorOS if you have the package name of the app you want to remove.

Meanwhile, you should also check out my list of bloatware on devices from Android OEMs other than Realme.

Realme Bloatware List

Even having the package name of a Realme app is not enough. You also need to make sure that it’s safe to remove. It is in such a situation that you may want to have a list of safe to remove Realme apps.

Below is a complete list of bloatware present on the Realme X50 Pro, Realme X2 Pro, Realme XT, Realme 5, Realme 3 Pro, and other devices.

Create your list of Realme Bloatware

If you are wondering how I got the above list of Realme UI bloatware, you create the list of all system apps installed on your phone using just one ADB Shell command. You don’t need to be a geek or an Android developer for that.

1. Download Android SDK Platform-tools.zip for Windows, macOS, or Linux. This zip file contains the latest ADB and Fastboot drivers for Android so you’ll have to extract it. Alternatively, you can get the list of system apps and remove them using ADB commands on your Android device itself without a PC or laptop.
2. Go to Settings > Additional settings > Developer options and enable USB debugging. If you don’t find the option listed, you must unlock Developer options first by going to Settings > About phone > Baseband & Kernel and tapping Build number 7 times.
3. Now, open the ‘platform-tools‘ folder and launch a Command Prompt in the folder window. The easiest way to do that is to type “cmd” in the folder address bar and hit the Enter key. There are 2 more ways to open a command window in a folder on Windows.
4. Anyway, connect your Realme phone to the computer via a USB cable and run the following command.

If the above method feels complicated to you, you can use Android apps like Package Browser, App Inspector, Package Name Viewer, etc. to get the app package names of apps installed on your device.

Uninstall System Apps on Realme without Root

So, you have the package names of all apps. Depending on your preference, you can uninstall system apps on your Realme phone, disable apps, and freeze apps that you don’t want to run in the background. Not just that, in case you uninstall a system app by mistake or get any issue after removing an app, you can easily reinstall it to fix the problem.

Just launch a command window, execute the adb shell command, and use the following commands. For any help, don’t forget to check out the detailed steps to uninstall system apps using the ADB command.

Uninstall apps: pm uninstall —user 0 <package name>

Reinstall an app: cmd package install-existing —user 0 <package name>

Disable an app: adb shell pm disable-user —user 0 <package name>

Freeze an app: cmd appops set <package_name> RUN_IN_BACKGROUND ignore

Don’t forget to replace <package_name> with the actual package name of an app. For example, if you want to remove the App Market in Realme UI, use the App Market package name as shown below.

If your Realme device is running ColorOS, try the following command to uninstall the App Market.

Below is a screenshot showing how you can uninstall Realme system apps one by one using ADB. As you can see, I removed apps like Game Center, HeyTap Cloud, and ORoaming from my Realme X2.

In case you get the ‘delete failed internal error‘ in ADB while trying to remove the App Market, Game Center, or Theme Manager app, it means that the OEM has restricted its installation.

In that case, you’ll have to root your Realme phone and use the commands given in my Android bloatware removal tutorial.

To fix the Permission denied error while uninstalling system apps, you should go to Settings > Additional settings > Developer options and disable Permissions Monitoring.

Anyway, if you want to disable YouTube and Chrome in Realme, you can use the following commands.

So, this is how we can disable apps in ColorOS and uninstall system apps on Realme UI. Using our Realme bloatware list, you can debloat Realme UI or ColorOS easily and safely. You can now use the Universal Android Debloater tool to get rid of unwanted system apps on your Realme smartphone.

Ограничение 5 приложений на автозапуск в Realme

Автозапуск позволяет приложениям более стабильно работать с уведомлениями. Но на некоторых прошивках Realme, возможности добавления приложений в автозапуск ограничены пятью приложениями. Можно ли преодолеть этот лимит? Штатными средствами — нет. Но с помощью ADB — да. Но не забудьте, что все действия, вы выполняете на свой страх и риск. Инструкция предназначена только для опытных пользователей.

Для снятия ограничений на 5 приложений в автозапуске, введите ADB команду:

adb shell pm uninstall -k —user 0 com.oplus.athena

После ее введения, удалится стандартное приложение athena, которое, в том числе, отвечает за эти ограничения. Если после применения команды, вы по прежнему не можете добавить более 5 приложений, то вероятно, придется сделать полный сброс и после первого запуска, когда смартфон еще чист, снова ввести эту команду.
